Avec Bonté

Avec Bonté (“with kindness”) is a vintage boutique with a focus on homeware and bespoke sourcing founded by Melie Hemon and Marcea Decker. Sourced from brocantes, markets, antique dealers, and private collections across France and the U.K., each piece is carefully curated and selected for craftsmanship, folk heritage, and a sense of tradition that remains useful and beautiful within the modern home.

Based in London with French and American roots, Avec Bonté explores the ways objects can move between cultures, generations, and uses to find new meaning in contemporary life. A collection of vintage silver objects are now available both in person and online from the Courtauld Gallery Shop, London.

The design language draws upon folk motifs such as quilt blocks, cross-stitch illustrations, and rich colors as an homage to the objects lovingly sourced. Thae logo was hand-lettered, based on old French script and handwriting samples, simplified for a range of applications while maintaining an imperfect, quirky human touch.
